Since its inception in 2018, the 90 Days Celibacy Brahmacharya Challenge has pushed for a more spiritual lifestyle. It is an initiative that encourages individuals to take a break from sexual indulgence for the sake of finding inner peace and building mental strength.
At the start of 2020, the second season of the 90 Days Celibacy Brahmacharya Challenge commenced and it has been steadily reaching out to its participants all throughout. On Day 36, participants of the challenge were treated to a special Yoga & Spiritual talk in Tamil (spoken in South India). The talk was led by special guest and spiritual leader, Achalananda Paramahamsa, who has been a mentor for millions of people globally.
Achalananda Paramahamsa started his talk by introducing the participants to the concept of brahmacharya, and suggesting how it can be practiced with increased focus and devotion. He went on to explain the different elements of the concept, such as Vedanta philosophy, the power of non-attachment and some of the physical and mental benefits of embracing a discipline such as this one.
The talk concluded with Achalananda Paramahamsa emphasizing the importance of self-growth and how it is only possible when one is in harmony and balance with one’s spiritual, physical, mental and emotional energies. He also emphasized on the importance of gratitude and how it is the key to happiness and contentment.
Overall, the talk was a great success and the participants feel more inspired and motivated to stay on with the challenge and continue on their path to spiritual growth.
