The yoga and meditation challenge, Season 5, is currently ongoing with the 42nd day of the 90-day challenge. It is a journey of self-discovery, spiritual healing, and personal growth for those who choose to take it. Through the practice of Brahmacharya, or celibacy, and daily yoga, participants aim to immerse themselves in the present while pushing their minds and bodies to new heights.
Brahmacharya involves abstaining from all sexual contact, as well as other activities such as smoking and drinking, while affirming and strengthening internal resources. Disciplining the mind and body during this season of challenge is a way of tapping into one’s inner power and learning to be in tune with the breath. It helps balance the mind, body, and soul while bringing self-awareness.
Daily yoga is an inseparable part of the journey; it helps build strength, flexibility, and balance and activates the energy channels within the body. Through different asanas, or postures, participants learn to recognize their own physical and mental boundaries while unlocking their true potential. In addition to the physical practice, mantras and pranayama (breath control) are also part of the daily practice to help create a deeper connection between the body, breath, and mind.
The 90-day challenge also includes Q&A sessions and experiences shared by the participants. Through these sessions, they can connect with each other and share tips and experiences, as well as ask and answer questions related to the challenge. These sessions offer an opportunity to learn and grow from each other in a supportive environment that encourages exploration and self-expression.
