For many, starting on a health and wellbeing journey is a day-by-day process. But for some, committing to a 90-day yoga, brahmacharya (celibacy) and meditation challenge is a more intense, but ultimately rewarding, route. In Tamilnadu, the fifth season of the 90-day daily yoga, brahmacharya and meditation challenge organized by Spiritual Sadhana has just been completed.

This challenge provides an opportunity for people to stay mindful and conscious of their actions and how they relate to their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of the community. Participants learn that they have inner power and ability to manage their emotions, their energy, and their values. Since its inception, over 9000 participants, including youth, have taken the challenge.

The 90-day challenge is divided into weekly sessions with various yoga asanas, restorative meditation and brahmacharya activities, which is followed by daily home assignment for participants. At the end of the challenge, participants share their experience in the live Q&A & Experience session, to help and motivate others.

Some of the experiences shared by participants in the live session highlights the impactful outcome of the challenge. All the participants concurred that the challenge helped them to focus inwards, become more conscious of negative patterns, increase their mental energy levels, feel grounded in their own decisions, take charge of their health and fitness, become more resilient and make healthy lifestyle changes.

This one-of-a-kind 90-day yoga, brahmacharya and meditation challenge has enabled and empowered many to jumpstart their well-being journey. Now in its fifth season, its popularity makes it obvious that the challenge is providing a much needed outlet for individuals to practice self-care and take greater ownership of their health and wellbeing.
